The WWEA and CWEA have announced an extension to the deadline for abstract submissions for the WWEC2025, which will now be accepted until 31 May 2025. The extension is a direct consequence of the considerable international interest in the primary event of the global wind community in 2025.

WWEA and CWEA have also decided that attendance at WWEC2025 will be complimentary, thus ensuring maximum participation by delegates at the event in Shantou, the Chinese city known for its wind power industry.. 

Abstracts are invited on the following main topics:

Abstracts format:
All abstracts should be written in English, be concise and clearly state results, objectives or key components of the paper – as well as the topic to which it belongs. They should not exceed 500 words and should contain a list of key words. Abstracts should be submitted before 15 April online, the upload link will be provided in early March. Please choose one of the presentation types: Oral presentation/Poster presentation

· Deadline for paper submission and registration of authors: 31 August 2025
