Empowering the Future with Wind Energy: Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainable Growth
Shantou, China – 3-5 December 2025
The World Wind Energy Association and the Chinese Wind Energy Association have published the detailed programme of the 22nd World Wind Energy Conference which will take place in Shantou/China from 3-5 December 2025. In total, more than 100 speakers will discuss latest international wind power developments.
The conference programme covers many important aspects of wind power utilisation. During the High-level Segment, key personalities will present their views on the latest developments and prospects of wind power. The Shantou Dialogue will discuss how to improve Collaboration for Mutual Benefit, Building a Resilient Global Wind Power Supply Chain. Several important international activities on the creation of industrial hubs, education and on a permanent industry dialogue will be launched.
WWEA will present the WWEA Community Engagement Guidelines on 5 December, another international milestone to boost social support for wind power.
Further sessions include the Global Wind Power Markets Forum, thematic technical fora, a Workshop on International Collaborative Efforts to Archive the Histories of the Global Wind Energy Sector, the Belt and Road Initiative Wind Power Cooperation Forum and more.
During WWEC2025, WWEA will present the winners of the World Wind Energy Award 2025 and also the best presentations will be awarded.
