Global Wind Power Development Dialogue
WindEnergy Hamburg 2026:
Global Wind Power Development Dialogue
Hosted by Hamburg Messe & World Wind Energy Association
24 September 2026, 10:30–12:30
Open Stage "Speakers´ Corner" in Hall A3.
Despite record growth in 2025, the wind industry remains geographically concentrated, leaving supply chains vulnerable to disruptions – highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical tensions. To meet global renewable energy targets, accelerated deployment and resilient supply chains are critical, especially in regions with limited manufacturing capacity.

- Opportunities and challenges for global wind sector growth
- Pathways for international cooperation
- Strategies to accelerate deployment
- Decarbonization of production processes and carbon border adjustments
- The role of good community engagement
Building on the format introduced at the WWEC2025 in Shantou, this event brings together global leaders to shape the future of wind power.
